The Internet: The Reason Why Your Kids Are Crazy (and why I am too)

There are obviously other reasons that my generation is crazy. Well, we aren't crazy per se. We just are a little over emotional. And weird. Let's just start the series.



There is no doubt that if you have a child/teen that is on the internet, you have no idea what they are talking about half of the time. You may wonder why they are reluctant to come out of their bedroom or why they elect to spend all of their time there. The same goes for if you are a child/teen who has friends that have been on the internet, but you haven't personally had the chance to experience it yourself. Consider this series a crash course on the internet. Dear God what have I gotten myself into?! I'm going to try and keep it professional, but I have my own thoughts and opinions. Those opinions will have lines through them.

The internet is a wondrous and very very scary place. But that scary part? It's not very scary. You'll get used to it the more you use it. But quite honestly I still get scared sometimes. Be careful. It all depends on how you use it. If you use the internet for fun, like reading or playing games or talking to friends or surfing Tumblr, then you're all set. Just don't go searching for porn or anything. Or do that. It's your life. I can't tell you what to do.   You'll find enough porn just looking for normal, SFW things.

We are slowly evolving into a tech-dependent society where internet and tech skills will be a must-have. I hope you'll get something out of this.
