Adventures of a Teenage Beginner Part Three: Really Reassuring (Continued)
I know it's not a Thursday and Thursdays are usually when I do these things, but I just remembered something that happened. Our ballet teacher told us that when she was beginning on pointe, she had ripped off her toenail somewhere around 5 times. I decided to look into it and I found this:Cheers, DFTBA, and Good Night!
Sorry Guys
Um, I know that there aren't many people who read this blog and I don't write these posts for myself. I've been going through some really tough stuff and I'm really sorry that I haven't posted in a while. If you guys have any ideas on how I can stop what's going on right now I'd accept any suggestions.Cheers, DFTBA, and Good Night.
I took down my letter to John Green because:
a) He's probably really busy and won't read it.
b) It wasn't my best writing.
c) He's a really awesome person and he doesn't need to be concerned with my petty problems.
I may post another one later if I really need some help. At that point, I really am gonna need you guys to tweet, reblog, pin, and facebook recommend it John Green's way. Actually, I would appreciate it if you guys would do this for anyone that I write a letter to.
I'm really sorry that I haven't been posting and I'll try to get into a better routine for this. A more entertaining post will be out soon guys!
Cheers, DFTBA, and Good Night.
Sick Days
Ok, I'm sick, and I thought I would blog about it since I don't have anything better to do.This morning, I woke up and started to get ready for school. Only problem? I woke up this morning at 3 am because of coughing and couldn't get to sleep until 5 am. My alarm usually goes off at around 6:20 am, so it wasn't the best morning. Anyway, I started to cough really hard and ended up just going back to bed because I couldn't go to school. At around 9 am I woke up again and moved my little HQ to the side room with the comfy couch and fell asleep again. I woke up at 3:20 pm. I slept for an entire day! Well, an entire school day anyway.
I, as a person, hate naps. When I wake up from them, I don't feel better than I did before. Also, I find it impossible to go to sleep in the middle of the day, but here I was sleeping for an entire day!
So, here I am. Just typing. I probably shouldn't even be on my computer. It makes my head hurt, but I have stuff I really need to do.
So, here's to the ones who go to work and school even though they are sick!
Cheers, DFTBA, and Good Night.
Homesickness Pt. 1
Homesickness
A long time ago, after I had moved to Japan, I had a feeling inside of me that I couldn't understand. I was homesick. Gradually, after I had lived in Japan for a while, I didn't miss Atlanta quite as much. I began to make a few friends and then my brother was born. 1. Don't think about home.
I know that this doesn't sound like something that you should do, but it does help. This ties in to what is next.
2. Keep busy, or don't.
Being busy is an art. A person can be busy with just about anything so long as they have the correct excuse. So, that being said, pick up a new hobby! Start reading a new book! Start a blog! Knit! Sew! Crochet! Play football (American)! Play football (Soccer)! Do SOMETHING other than sit and reminisce about everything you left behind. It doesn't matter if you are Christian or not, this verse from Ecclesiastes 3 is perfect for this.
"1There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace."
--Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
3. Have an anchor.
No. Not like that. It doesn't matter if you think you are too old for a security blanket or a lucky stuffed animal, it helps. I still have a bunch of animals that I got when I was little, and it really helped.
Anyway, that's all for today. I'm really sorry that I haven't posted in a few days. I've been really busy and if you've seen my Pinterest status, then you'll know that I haven't been at my best lately. Anyway, I'll see you guys later!

5 Favorite Emojis (Well, more like emojis that describe me, but whatever!)
It's time for another post where you find out a little bit more about me!🎧 I love music. It represents my heart, soul, and mind all in one short audio clip. I can't imagine living without it.
📚 Likewise, I can't imagine living without books. They are a huge part of my life and have influenced me in many ways. (Looking at you +John Green , J. K. Rowling, Harper Lee, William Shakespeare, Veronica Roth, Rick Riordan, and many others.)
✈️ Ever since I was a child my family has traveled. And when I say travel, I mean hard-core travel around the world. We even moved overseas! (If you didn't know that, you must be new here.) I love seeing new places and immersing myself in new cultures. New food? No problem. Well, it just depends on what it is. If you put a piece of cow tongue in front of me, there is no way on God's green Earth that I would eat it.
♎️ I am a Libra and I while I don't believe in horoscopes, I believe that it actually represents me in many ways. I actually used to sign my emails this way until I had to send a really professional email and I just kept it at Anna Grace.
💖 When I love, I love with my whole heart. I don't just go on whims. I make sure that the person knows they are loved, or at least I try to. If you break my trust, it's most likely broken forever.
So, yeah. That's about it. I'll see you guys later.
Cheers, DFTBA, and Good Night.
